Moving & Delivery Damage Furniture Repair

Scratches, tears, dents and broken frames from your move or delivery — fixed in your home, often within 48 hours across England & Wales.

Common Damage From Moving & Delivery

Furniture takes a beating during a house move or a long-distance delivery. Straps bite into wood, cushions rip on doorframes, drawers arrive misaligned and cabinet feet snap under bad stacking. Even careful movers rarely deliver everything perfectly

The most common problems we see are surface scratches from van floors, split joints from being dropped, torn upholstery from tight stairwells and warped panels from damp storage. Almost all of it can be repaired invisibly — you don’t need a replacement.

Why In-Home Repair Matters

Once furniture arrives at your home, the last thing you want is for it to leave again. Loading it into another van for a workshop repair risks fresh damage and adds weeks of waiting. Our craftsmen bring a fully-stocked mobile workshop to your door.

Most repairs — colour-matching, re-gluing frames, patching upholstery, replacing runners — are completed in a single 1–3 hour visit. You watch it happen, approve the result, and your room is back in order the same day.

Report Damage Within 48–72 Hours To Protect Your Insurance Claim

Most courier and removal-company policies require damage to be reported within 48 to 72 hours of delivery. We can produce a written damage report, itemised quote and dated photographs your insurer will accept — often the single most useful document for getting a payout.

Questions

Everything you need to know.

Most courier and removal-company insurance policies require damage to be reported within 48–72 hours of delivery. We recommend booking an assessment as soon as you notice the damage — even before contacting the insurer.

Yes — every assessment includes a written damage report, itemised quote, dated photographs and, where needed, we’ll correspond directly with your insurer or removal company at no extra charge.

Around 80% of repairs are completed in a single home visit lasting 1–3 hours. More complex structural or upholstery repairs may need a return visit, which we’ll always agree with you in advance.

We do — that’s the whole point. We bring a fully-stocked mobile workshop, so there’s no dismantling, transporting or waiting weeks to get your furniture back.

Roughly 5% of items are beyond economic repair. In those cases we provide a written “beyond economical repair” statement and replacement quote for your insurer — often the single most useful document for a payout.

We cover most of England and Wales with next-week availability, and offer 48-hour priority response across major metropolitan areas. Enter your postcode when booking to confirm coverage.
